Separate stalls in new annex of main barn. Stalls are 14 x 16 with inside and outside doors. Well ventiliated, hay and grain 2 x a day, stalls cleaned 2 x / day, exercise and paddocks daily.

Vet Services by Dr. David Beckman, CEM Specialist / Breeding Specialist. CEM mares and stallions are well cared for by experienced grooms and trainers. They are welcomed to a warm clean stall with deep bedding, a warm peppermint bran mash and tepid water to adjust from their travel across the waters.

The Ky Dept of Agriculture meets them as they unload and the paperwork is completed for the CEM quarantine. CEM work is started as soon as possible, usually the second day after arrival. During Holidays CEM will take 20-22 days , otherwise the normal stay is 18 days before release.

Cost per mare: $ 1400.00 ( includes board, care, courier, and CEM vet)

CEM stallions: call for quote ( Feb- to July 2008) other : worming, farrier, shots, blankets, vet calls other than CEM will be billed to the owner.

We feed oat, alfalfa and grass hay, a 12% grain with rice bran, mineral salt, and Succeed . The bedding is either fluffly oak shavings or bright rye straw. We ask that we have individual owner contacts for emergencies and billing for any extras the owner requests: ( blankets, farrier etc)
